I am wanting to use ecobubs wool pockets as well as my good old fuzzis.
Now my problem is that on the ecobubs website it informs me that ecostore washing powder is not recommended aswell as enzyme based detergents. My issue is that we wash the nappies with our clothes to make it economical for us....What washing powder can I use then? To make it easier on us I should just not get the ecobubs and just use Fuzzis however they are just so darned adorable!!! Vanity is a sin right?

I use Down to Earth powder on all my nappies (ecobubs wool, bitti d'lish, fuzzis, foxys and other plain pockets) and have had no problems.

I would ring Rochelle/Rebecca and ask them what they recommend - lovely ladies who are happy to help.

(In fact, I think I asked the same question of them, but can't find the email - if it turns up I will let you know)

Thanks Bel...Are they from Ecobubs or from a company that sells them?

I assume you would need to use a wool wash.

Nah don't need to use wool wash either - I asked about that too.

McPloppy, they are the Ecobubs ladies - they are a NZ made nappy. So you would be contacting the makers directly.

I use the BEE powder - don't think it's enzyme based and found it worked better than Ecostore or Down to Earth (plus it smells really good!)

Hi gys...Just heard back from the girls at ecobubs and this is what they had to say.

Ecostore powder should not be used on any wool garment, just to let you know. It says not to on the box and we have had customers that have found the powder deteriorates their wool, bamboo and cotton garments faster than usual. The Ecostore detergent is fine to use, so is the likes of Persil, Bee, soapnuts etc.

A wool wash is not needed and would build up in the fleece of the nappy - so is a no-no.

I hope this helps you, am really glad that you like out product.

Kindest regards

Rebecca
