Hey girls
Since we have a wedding post i thought how about a wedding ring post where we post up pics of engagement rings and wedding rings, i got creative with my rings and i would love to see what everyone else has i love rings!! hehe Be cool to post prices up so people getting married or engaged can see what they can get for their money. Heres mine from Michael Hill Jeweller: Engagement Ring - $1700 - White Gold with 8 Channel set diamonds and a bigger diamond (i have no idea what size lol) Wedding Ring - $800 - White Gold with 9 Channel Set diamonds

Engagement ring - 1/3 carrat solataire diamond ring from Michael Hill Wedding ring - 6 channel set diamonds witha twist bit in the middle from 5th Avenue Eternity ring - 7 channel set diamonds, slightly bigger than the wedding ring ones, the they line up almost perfectly from Michael Hill ------------- ">

Well I do from my first marriage and are saving them for my daughter!!! My new man (well 4 years later) needs to hurry up and get down the road!!! Beautiful ring tho!! -------------

Engagement ring 1/4 ct diamond 9ct white gold
wedding ring 18ct white gold with words 'Caru am byth' around it which means love forever in welsh (husbands grandfather is welsh) We had them made so there are no others like them

My engagement ring is gold with a ruby in the middle (birth stone) with a diamond either side. ($695) Wedding ring that goes with it is gold, clusters of those little diamonds and fits perfectly with the ring ($2995) However I think I might go with something simple like a gold band or white gold band. ------------- http://www.snugglepie.com">

Ok here are ours ! Can't remember the exact details, but my engagement ring was about $1600, wedding ring was only $75 (on sale), and I *think* hubby's ring was about $250 (was both an engagement and wedding ring for him).

oooh I like this thread, especially since I work for Michael Hill.
Here is my ring, RRP $2295, sometimes comes on special for about $1895? (bottom left hand corner) it is a half carat total diamond weight princess cut solitaire with princess cut shoulders. The centre stone is semi bezel (or rub over) in white gold, the rest is in yellow, all 18ct. The wedding band I have chosen is a quarter carat p/cut channel set jobbie that fits perfectly with it, and the .50 ct or 1 carat for the ET band...  ------------- The Honest Un PC Parent of 2, usually stuck in the naughty corner! :P |

Jax, looks like your ring on the top left, and Carmel, the Yellow gold version of yours is there too, as is the cluster version of Jess' ring! God love MH!!

Mine engagement ring is a 3/4 (.75) carat diamond- Colour e Clarity SI1- it was about $5000.
Wedding band is a 8 diamond channel set that was $699. Both from MH (I used to work there too! While I was at uni- it was where I got my jewellery fetish ).
Pic was one from our wedding when our rings were actually clean!

This is my engagement ring. It is platinum with a very dark blue sapphire in the middle and two diamonds on the sides. I can't remember exactly what it cost but think it was around $4500.

dont have a pic of mine but the ladies that worked at MHJ would know wot mine looks like.it was $799 and is a 9ct white gold band with an oval Tanzanite(blueish purpleish colour) n the centre and 2 smaller daimonds (one on either side of Tanz) it s a rubover setting?? and theres 2 small normal gols bands on the very outside of the stones.Did i describe it fairly well Jenn and Jacobsmama lol my wedding bad will be from camerons jewellers here in palmy and wil be 9ct white gole band with 3 small diamonds which align wiith the 3 stones on my eng ring.the band will cost around $300 and has to be specially made due to the oval Tanz stone.was the cheapest and closest to the type of band i am after. Naths ring however will be titanium or similar and no fuss on the $300 buk ones at MH so an $80-$100 jobby from warehouse is fine by him lol ------------- BECS http://www.sparklee.com">

I guess I should say the prices too, totally forgot. Mine basically look like yours Jennz, but your wedding band is my eternity one and it only has 7 diamonds. Engagement was around $2,500 but we got a big discount on that. Wedding band was $500 I think and eternity ring was $700. ------------- ">

Oh not to much of a fan of my ring in the gold cluster lol i had my eye on my engagement ring before i was even engaged hehe I wouldnt change them for anything i love them tehehe

here are mine engagement 18 ct white gold emerald and diamond ring $3160 Made by Jewellery design and Manufacture. Rob Designed it for me. It is fab as i never need to take it off. Even when i worked in dental as it never catches Wedding 18ct white gold hand made curved fitting band encasing 10X 0.02 diamonds $1500 made by Todd Barrell Todd threw Robs wedding band in as a freebie. ps i took the pic on my honeymoon. hence the long fingernails. hee hee. Still waiting for my eternity ring. me thinks it will be a long way off as far more important things to spend our money on these days. But when we do get around to it it will be the same as wedding band. Although am thinking now of getting my kids and robs birth stones put in it. My engagement ring is too big and when I wear it, it flings off. boo hoo.
But we bought it in Japan - white gold and diamond. It is small but perfect for me. |

Yah My engagement ring is a single diamond (with good clearity.....cant remember the exact code)and wedding band 8 diamonds on it. I dont like things that are too shiny or attracts attention so mine is small and yet suits my finger very well.

My engagement ring was from Michael Hill, it's a single princess cut diamond ring, i love it nice and simple, I have picked out the wedding band i want. It's a gold band with i think 9 princess cut diamonds in it...JK has also decided on what he wants but we will have to get that made. We haven't even got a date yet so the bands are along way off...hehehe... -------------

Actually, we have 2 wedding bands that we are looking to sell. One womens one in 18ct gold and the other mens one in 9ct gold. Never actually used as we bought them then changed our minds (extravagent I know). If anyone is interested PM me and I can organise photos etc ------------- ">

Lizzle, maybe you should get your ring re-sized? My mum lost her wedding ring years ago because it was too big and slipped off and she it still sad about it

That was how my mum managed to lose her wedding ring. She went over to australia and her fingers swelled up with the heat so she got the ring enlarged, then when she came back to NZ her fingers shrank again and she lost her ring.
I guess you must retain fluid (?) around fingers... |

dh had to get his ring resized up on our honeymoon.... only for it to no longer fit him, and it falls off all the time. i told him he just has to get fat again. ( he loses weight in winter and gains it in summer. has to be the complete opposite of normal people, but it is because he plays rugby in winter, and drinks beer in summer) ------------- Lyla - mum to Xanthe -  my big 4 year old
