Hi

I'm hoping to enroll in a local antenatel class but when I rang I found out the next one will cover the time when I'll be 28 -33 weeks pg. Is this too early or is it better to be prepared just in case bubba makes a suprise entrance? I mean, do you think I'll forget what to do once the big day comes? lol This paticular class really suits best as it's very local and affordable.

The one after that is out cos it starts when I'm 39 weeks and that might be pushing it (excuse the pun)

Feedback welcome!

sounds perfect to me! i think towards the end of your pregnancy, it's way harder to sit down for a couple of hours, let alone concentrate on what is being said!

I would do it then, ours finished a month before we were due and I had Leah 5 days later

I did mine at the same time as you (the next class isnt until february this year) and everyone in our group was due at the same time so it worked out okay. Hope i dont forget everything when the time comes though!

If they have uncomfy chairs then the earlier you can go the better I reckon. I ended up dreading having to sit there for a couple of hours at a time - it was like torture towards the later stages of pregnancy.

Hi emmecat, I started mine at 25 weeks and just finished tonight (now 31 weeks). I think it was good timing. I've already forgotten some of the info of course, but I've also gotten a much clearer idea of things I want to look into a bit more.
And at least you will have finished your classes in case the baby comes early.

I thought the classes were great, I hope you'll enjoy yours too.

I agree with Ella, I started my classes 2 weeks ago at 26 weeks, and most of the others in my class range from 2 weeks behind me to 3 weeks ahead of me. Even if you do forget a bit of it, you're likely to remember the stuff you actually want to know about, and at least you'll get to all the classes before baby arrives.
