Heya just wondering what everyone else thought of the finale for 2008?
I thought it was too predictable ...too much given away too early on ...I'm glad Ethan is dead though, was so over that storyline and his character in general. |

Didnt realy have me on the edge of my seat like last years season finale. At least I am not going to go crazy waiting for it to start back again.
I dont think the shooter was anyone with any shooting experience? I am more interested to find what happened with Tracey and her sleepwalking stabbing.... or have they solved that already...?? -------------

And it will be the whole "if i cant have you noone can scenario. Besides they wouldn't make it one of the longer term maincast, just like Joey , they want to make it easy when the person gets caught and arrested. Besides THAT , the look he gave the killer was one of bemusement , like "oh, nice are we going to play this little game now "? and it definetly wasnt Don Lennox-did you see the sloppy shooting job ? hes a hired hitman , he would have been much tidier (and not so careless to leave the body there ) -------------

and Alice (lol, not Alison) would have had an angry ,steadier hand...(despite being drunk ) , and again , they wont make it one of the main characters....Joey was a main character , yes, but bought in about a week before the murders started . -------------

I agree with Brook...A woman scorned and all. However she practiced at a firing range and the shots at Ethan were sloppy so not Don. Not Tracey either.

Im going to be really blunt, the reason it wont be a long term cast member , is because the directors etc , dont have the guts .
They wont use someone who has the possibilty of more storylines , eg Chris, Alice ,Maia , they will use someone whos sole purpose of being bought into the programme has led up to this . the killer is also someone he knew and was amused to see, the smirk on his face was the type that a chauvanistic pig like him would give to a girllllll holding a gun . And it wont be Chris, apart from the longterm cast member thing, he wouldn't jeopardise Harry like that so soon after hes lost his mother . -------------

Yup, I can't see it being another long termer either. the only one that I can see them wanting rid of is Callum,a s the whole thing with his wife having left will be messy to tidy up, even if she is 'in hiding'. But the actor has left permanently.
Brokkes character has nowhere left to develop really, as her intrigue was enmeshed with Ethan. makes sense for it to be her, as that gets rid of her nicely. -------------

Nah I dont reckon its brooke or chris. I think its Alice, she knew where Ethans gun was and she was MAD when she left....
Brooke wouldnt of got there in time...this person was there waiting for him well before he got home I rekon. I wont be Chris....he wouldnt do that, he has Harry to think about. I think either Alice or that hit man(maybe) ------------- |

Wasn't it Ethans gun he was shot with? My suspects are Chris as he wanted to have a word with him but where would he get a gun from? Libby as he gave her mother cancer where would she get a gun from? The hitman Brooke as she couldn't come with Ethan

Libby and Gerald don't have the guts to kill someone. No matter how angry they are.
The hitman is exactly that , a hitman , and would have done the job in ONE hit, not 3 , and he prefers the more "make it look like an accident " type death, (he was the one in charge of the group that killed Craig ) so Ethan's body would be found in his burnt down house, not at the beach . Whoever the killer was, knew him well, when he walked in classical music was playing, that was his preferred music to play in theatre, a bit of a taunt , or a bit of a "see how well i know you " If Alice did it, it will be because the actress wants out . Brooke was only bought in for a temporary role..making her the easier one to get rid of . (good) -------------

Brooke did know where the gun was too tho . Oh, and the killer was left handed , so was Brooke. Who would he give that smirk too? Brooke, Alice, Haldene (tho he might look abit more , gosh what are YOU doing here) possibly Maia, but she doesnt have the guts ,or maybe Keiran. If it was Don , he would have looked a bit more scared . Because hes such a chauvanistic pig its a look hes more likely to give to a woman. another interesting bit, on Friday nights credits Ethan and Brooke were separated from the rest of the cast . -------------

I agree with caitlynsmygirl, it will be someone that was brought on the show for this reason and Brooke came on at the same time as Ethan and doesn't really feel like she is permanent. |

I so reckon it has something to do with Kane and Kingi. Did you notice that Ethans house is on the beach and in the same episode Kane and some gang members had just caught Tania and Kingi on a beach.....
Theres gotta be something to that! They need to tie up those loose ends with Kane if he did it then they could get rid of Ethan and Kane in one hit. Although I haven't figured out a solid motive yet......... Geez I'm sad  -------------

Um the fact they said Kane was out of prison seeking revenge on all who might have dobbed him in and him being on a P induced rage makes it possible its him.
I still think first shot was the hired killer through the window because 1 they need to bring down the gang and 2 they need to put an end to the drug company that killed huis, craig and tried to kill justine and he is the same contract killer. Also i think the second 2 shots come from Brooke and or Alice i mean lets face it one of them couldnt take his body out to the beach on thier own -------------
