lolol, what on earth do you do if a cat drinks coke?

I had my glass down on the floor and got up to see to the kids this evening, at about 6ish i think.   I came back to find our kitten Luna lapping it up, he didn't like gulp it down but would have had about a centimetres worth of it at least (it was further down in the cup than when i left).

I didn't really think too much of it but about an hour later, once the kids had gone to bed, the cats usually follow their same routine or sleeping while we finish dinner etc, then have little run around and do kitty play fighting. well, this evening Jett, got off the chair as he always does, went to go to jump on the chair with Luna - and Luna full on went feral on him, did the growling squealing cat fight kind of noise and has spent the last few hours of course attacking Jett anytime he goes near him, and being really very aggressive.

How long will this last? I mean yeah it's late and i am still up but when i go to bed i am putting them in the bathroom together - i really hope they don't keep us awake, i don't want Luna to hurt jett.

Will this cause long term damage or do i just need to wait till my kitty comes down off his caffeine high?

freeeken weird kitten.

poor wee Luna - hopefully she is feeling more herself today - caffeine is not good for cats however what can you do when they steal it for yourself - my cat has a thing for wine!

My cat loves drinking DH's coffee in the morning, and then has a period of a couple of hours where she goes nuts.

My vet said that a small amount is ok, and cats generally know when to stop drinking something like that.

Hopefully it doesn't become a habit like with my cat, or else Luna will have these episodes on a daily basis!!!!
