We are from Tauranga. DF will be back from Oz on Tuesday after being there the past 2 weeks. I've been stuck here working with DD. I don't have to work next Saturday so will have 4 days off! I've decided I want to go away. But I have no idea where to. We don't have alot of money so it would have to be somewhere cheap. And within an hours drive of home. I'm guessing most of the holiday park type places will be booked up well in advance. We don't have tents or anything like that either.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or am I just doing alot of wishful thinking at this short notice? |

Depends on how long you want to go away for.

What about staying over at someone's home? If you make a full 2 to 3 days of it, it can be quite fun. Then go look at the sights in their area. -------------  |

If we had a bigger back yard I'd offer it for a camp-out 
What about Whakatane? or Ohope... Nice beaches, heaps of cafes and lovely scenery... -------------
