Just wondering what options are out there.  Do I have to get the mountain buggy one and is it true that it doesnt unzip the way the single does?

I have the double MB one. It does unzip on both sides.
I don't know what other options are out there as we just bought it when we got the buggy.

I use it more when I want them to nap than when out in the sun

Oh thats cool that it unzips.  I saw one for sale on TM that didnt even though it said it was agenuine MTB one.    I used my single one heaps when Tom was little for shade and sleep but dont now so I wonder if I would use it much when I would have one asleep and one awake?

Yeah I've been wondering about this, my universal one actually just about stretches over it, the trouble is though is that Spencer hates having it on now cos he can't see out, so he ends up lifting up the side of it so he can see what is going on or he moans. So I pretty much don't use it I just put his hat on and his sunscreen and then only put it down if the sun is right on him or on the rare occasions that he still falls asleep in there.
If the MB unzips both sides does that mean you could hitch one side up out of the way and still have the newbie covered up?

I'm wondering whether a carry cot might be the answer Marisa.  Then you can leave the "big boy" uncovered to pander to their ever need and cover bubs...and see bubs and have something to sleep bubs in at all the toddler activities we are going to be walking to rather than driving as we are now........thats my latest thought.

We have a double MB and a single universal shade that I put over the baby and tie down as best I can and sunscreen and hat etc Leah as she won't have a bar of the shade. I was going to buy a double one when we got the MB but i'm glad I didn't now.
