Hi, we were given a popcorn maker for xmas and I wanted some yummy recipes for toppings, (not a big fan of just plain popcorn)

My favourite microwave popcorn is Kettle corn (the sweet and salty one) does anyone know how to replicate that one???? Please

Sorry I don't know about kettle corn, but my fave toppings are good old icing sugar and butter, or salt and butter. Mmmm.

try sprinkling with salt and icing sugar - that should give the sweet and salt taste

So I melted some butter and poured that over, sprinkled about a teaspoon of normal sugar and ground a little bit of salt over. (was only a small bowl of popcorn!) Tasted pretty good, this will be a work in progress I think.

I googled it and you can buy kettle corn sprinkle in the states........but not here

I used to work for Pop'n'Good popcorn, they are the distributors of that gorgeous Act II popcorn.

Kettle corn is virtually a sweet n salty taste. You could try different amounts of salt n icing sugar, play around a bit until you get the quantities right.

It will be a lil different tho, as they already use the oil in the packs and you are airpopping.

Man, I miss that smell of that place.

Apparently when doing butter and salt, all we really want is the salt taste so salt it well and just do a teaspoon of butter.

My mum used to make a caramel sauce - honey, butter, sugar - and pour it over and let it set. Yuuuuum but DH doesn't like it. I can put up the recipe if you like.

Nefertiti, is that the Pop'n'Good chocolate and caramel coated popcorn?

Ok, that stuff is gorgeous. They also do caramel and cashew nut popcorn too. Yum!

A lil harder to find as they generally stock in speciality stores, but you could call Pop'n'Good and ask which stores in your area may stock the product.

Yum yum!
