I dont know anything about the ovulation strips etc. I have been told that the best way and most accurate is by temping..........thats what im doing at the moment. Im having trouble getting 3 hours sleep and wish there was an easier way IE OV strips etc............but i think i will just stick this out for a bit.
I also have a saliva tester, am trying to remember to use this in the morning too and see if it coincides with the temps etc

I have the ovulation strips (from Baby4you) and I chart also.
My cycles are all over the place so can easily use 10 a cycle so that's why I went with the cheaper strips.
I'm not sure if it's just my body, but I've never had a true positive result and was testing at 4pm each day like you're supposed to.
I read on Fertility Friend that a lot of their fertility specialists have told them to test with their 1st urine of the day and have had much better results. I'm going to do that next cycle and see how I get on.
Good luck to you

Hi - I used the ovulation strips from Baby4you for the first time this month. I also have a long cycle (35 days) but the instructions said I should start testing on CD18
I got a positive after using 5 but I think I just lucked out from when I guessed I should start (had a MC in Dec and have no idea when anything is expected to start working again)
I found I had two days of 'fade in' before I got the positive test which seems handy. I've also started temping but I am finding that much more difficult. Good luck with it all!

Well I can now tell you the ovulation strips do work, I've had a BFP! I am a total convert - it took 8 months of 'guessing' to fall preg the first time and now with these tests its worked out first go.
Fingers crossed for you oxy23!
