Safe and sound are an awesome reliable brand to get. I don't think you will regret it.

Can't remember which model we got, just know it's not the Royale, but would get Safe and Sound again. We got ours online Either Winkalotts or KiwiBaby

I've got the safe and sound omega, we've only been using it since xmas but it was easy enough to fit into the car, easy to recline (3 positions), it was a bit tricky getting her in and out to start with but I think thats more me then it is the carseat. Love the 6 point harness, love the side impact protection, love the colour, pumpkin loves how roomy it is.

JJ's carseat is a Royale, so you can take a look on Waitangi weekend if we manage to catch up

We did a bit of research before choosing the Royale (which we got from Kiwibaby), decided it was worth paying a little more for extra comfort and safety features. It was easy enough to install, and I love how easy it is to loosen and tighten the straps, but I find the tether straps do get in the way a bit when getting him in and out. I'm getting used to it though, and you'd have that problem with any seat that requires a tether strap (which is most - there are some that tether to the base of the seat in front of them but I don't personally know much about them).

We have a Royale but it is sitting in the spare room at the mo while we have our baby in a capsule with a base. I did wonder how annoying the tether straps would be, but safety is our main priority. We chose this seat for safety and comfort, we looked at others but always came back to this one. I'm also interested in feedback on this seat.

We have a regular safe n sound and I love it. I agree with others that it's a reliable brand.

However, if I was to do it all again, I'd buy a Brio instead. It's a couple of hundred more, but it can be rear facing for SO much longer.

We used my sisters one and it was great. The tethers were quite a nuisance to get baby over, especially as they got bigger and the strap to tighten the belt has become really hard to tighten. We still can but have to really pull it hard. It'd be about 3-4 years old.

We did end up buying our own Brio though to get rid of the tethers problem and because it can rear face for longer like Liz said (until 25kg) and we intend to rear face for as long as possible.

Livvy always looked very comfortable in the SnS Royale though. A great carseat.

A Brio Zento, that's the one I was thinking of... I'm with Liz, if I had to do it again that's the one I'd get.

We had a safe and sound, they are good seats but they only rear face up to 12kg which isn't much. We used to release the tether strap to get ds in and out & hen tighten it again.

We have a Brio, its a great seat, definitely worth the extra money, it is heavy, really solid seat. You will also get a lot of use out of it, as it rear faces to 25kg, or forward faces to 18kg with the harness and then as a booster after that.

we've got a royale and it's great. it must be comfy because jack would never sleep in the car as a baby until we got him the royale carseat......first trip out and he fell asleep
