Hi,

Over the last week or so DS has started to dribble a lot - to the point it will soak his t-shirt.  He is also much more grizzly during the day.

The other thing is he can barely manage 3 hours between feeds, he used to manage nearly 4 and chews on his fist about 20 minutes before 3 hours is up and i have to distract him to get to the 3 hours.

He is drinking his entire milk allowance and often a bit more. But wondering if all the dribbling makes him thirsty?

Many questions really is he teething, is it  a phase, is it anything to do with needing solids?

Any ideas welcome

Yes it could be teeth. THey move around in their little gums for a while before appearing. My boy started dribbling like mad at the same stage and has just got his front two teeth over the past two weeks.
THe druling is a major pain but it doesn't cause any harm other than the pile of washing you have to contend with.
As for the feeding he is probably going through a growth sprut. They happen about every 5-6 weeks with my boy and it is always tough when they do. It should settle down soon.

Yeah that sounds like the beginning of lovely teething. Have you thought of trying an amber teething necklace. Apparently they are great at soothing bubs through teething - I wish I had tried one!

There's a lady on TM I got mine from (username stefi) for when my boy goes through the 2yr molar teething. Only about $25 so really worth it if it helps. Just got mine today and it looks wonderfully made, quite cute too hehe.

It's just a necklace made of amber. Amber has natural soothing and healing properties so helps them through teething and she had a few different colour choices too which I thought was cool so I got a more boy colour

Kayla is doing the same thing right now with chewing on her hand and drooling everywhere..This can also just be an exploration thing..although she often shoves it down her throat and gags..

As for the grizzling and closer together feeds...about now is another growth spurt.. Kayla is also doing this and they were born in the same month so it all seems like usual baby business
