DH left for Dorkland 2 days ago for the big day out. Stupidly as he was in the line to get in he realised he left his ticket here next to the bed in CHCH!
I txt him the serial number but they wouldn't let him in without his ticket. I guess they were worried that he had sold it and was trying to get in for free. So he had to spend ANOTHER $140 to get in grrrrr  Its so money we didn't have to spend. Oh well as long as I still get my weekend away in Brisbane next month I don't care.-------------

Arrgh .. that sounds like something my DH would do! Although in fairness .. at last years BDO I had contractions coming thick and fast .. so he didnt go .. and what happened?? They all stopped and I had to wait another week for baby to come! ------------- Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months) I did it .. 41 kgs gone! Haha he brought a second ticket without telling me first sneaky boy! But thats kool its him that will have to work loads of over time next week to pay it off......Although that effects me dammit! -------------

 Oh no!!  I hope he bloody well enjoys himself!!
For Christmas 2003 the in-laws gave DH and I tickets for the BDO the following January. We were living with them at the time. MIL likes to keep Christmas cards up for a couple of weeks after Christmas, so I left my ticket in the card, as I knew it would be safe. A fortnight before the BDO I went to get my ticket to put in my wallet so I wouldn't forget to take it. BUT......MIL decided to throw out the Christmas cards, FIL decided to burn them as they were taking up too much room in the bin.... ....along with my BDO ticket. Not so funny at the time, but we laugh about it now
