Hi all,
My son's first birthday is in March and My DH and I want to do a naming ceremony for him. Does anyone have any ideas about this, or done one themselves for their kids?

thanks

Yep I've done two with my older kids. I used a JP (Margaret Sauvarin) for both of them. Basically we promised to love and care for them for as long as we were able. The godparents also made a similar promise.

We had an afternoon tea and a cake at both of them, some people brought gifts and others didn't..

I wanted to do one for Jack when he was born but DH wasn't fussed and I wasn't up to the organising. I just googled naming ceremony and there were heaps of sites that came up with great ideas
