You'd need a lot of help. Hopefully they can afford a Nanny (or three) or that they get some assistance to get one.

Imagine growing up with eight brothers and sisters... that are the same age as you!!!!!

I cannot get over this.

You would need an army of nannies, if you think that in any daycare centre its one nanny per 2 under 2's, so you need at least 3.

If one started crawling and you lost it how long would it take you to notice.

it's amazing they all must have been menat to be born to be able to fit in there and grow till 32 weeks??
imagine the shopping bill when they are older and you'd have to buy a bus to go anywhere.
Does any one know if they have other children.?

yes they have 6 other chillies, so 14 in total, & apparently she's living at her mothers house....

Jeez i've got 7 but 3 of them are teenagers and my last 4 are 8yrs, 2yrs, 1yrs & 7 weeks and it's always a nightmare taking them out shopping, imagine having 8 toddlers running away from you in the supermarket,,,, Very scary thought

This amazes me on so many levels. I still can't get over the fact she was on fertility treatment when she already had 6 kids!! Very keen.

They were a bit scathing on the news last night - but yeah why would she be implanted with 8 when she already has 6 children? Why would she be having any fertility treatment if she already had 6 children? And the six children are very young and include 2 year old twins

I think it's really unethical and unfair to be having fertility treatment when you already have 6 children and are still under 35.
I also don't agree that they should have implanted 8 embryos at once. The chances of all 8 children having complications must be extremely high?
Without knowing the whole story I'm asking myself how is she going to financially afford to bring up 14 children as a single mother? Thank goodness she's got the support of her mother.

Aside from that I do wonder how she managed to carry 8 babies for 32 weeks - amazing in itself!

I also agree!

I definately think some investigations into that fertility clinic need to be done.

It just seems so irresponsible.

I too agree, we were talking about this with our coffee group and we all thought the same thing.

Good thing that doesnt happen in NZ, they should only implant 1 not all 7 or 8 thats just stupid.

I hope the babies pull through though.

I agree especially when your a single parent it seems so irresponsible. I feel so bad for the first 6 kids that probably fought for attention before, they will now get little to no one on one time with their Mum. It may sound mean but I don't believe she should have been accepted for IVF at all not after having 6 kids alreay. Did they even investigate to see how well her kids were thriving and developing in such a large family before they knocked her up?
