I know that I should probably know how to do this but the truth is I have no idea....so how do people use the feel of the cervix to determine if they are ovulating? I mean, what does it feel like, how high etc. Probably if there are any replies it will read like TMI but I really want to know so I can use this method too!
Any advice will be gratefully taken (I hope )

It feels soft and open when you are ovulating...and I think from memory it is low when you are ov. When you aren't ov, it sits high up and is firmer and feels closed.
I think the best way to try and find it is squatting in the shower. That way you know your fingers are clean + its a pretty good position to be in to try and find it. It is like a round sort of thing. You cant really miss it...there isn't too much else up there
Good luck

I've been told your cervix feels a bit like the tip of a nose, but with a small indentation (the opening)... if you can feel it easily it's considered low, you judge the texture being firm, medium or soft and if the indentation is easily discernible then that's considered open - so if you have low, soft and open that's the most fertile stage and the time of ovulation... but this is all what I've read in theory, I haven't actually put it into practice other than the odd wee curious poke around up there!
