Hi, my girl is 3 1/2mths old now, and has nice chubby thighs. I have been using prefolds some of the time, but my outers are now getting too small. I want to buy some bigger ones, but was interested if anyone has any suggestions on brand? I have been using snazzipants fleece covers. I find though that if I do them up tight enough around her tummy they leave big marks around her thighs, and regardless they slip down closer to her knees than her bum... Is this to be expected or does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm afraid I don't have any experience with prefolds & covers but my son had chubby thighs and we got on really well with both Fuzzi Bunz & Honeychild pocket nappies. They have seperate leg & waist adjusting poppers which suited him well as he always had the legs set much wider than the waist!

Jess, my daughter Caitlin had really chubby thighs and a slim-ish waist as a baby. I found the only thing that would accommodate both was a nappy with pointed wings (like Fuzzis and Honeychild) as you can do them up to fit the thighs on one setting and use a completely different setting around the waist without it effecting the thigh settings.
I've found nappies that just have the straight row of snaps (or velcro) can't be custom fitted to different proportions and you'll always end up with too tight/too loose somewhere
