Morning Sickness that is. I know there is the other MS thread going at the moment but didnt want to hijack it.

I am having all day nausea and even though I try to take the B6 and Ginger first it does it really help.

Ive spent the last 3 mornings at the toilet dry reaching (although yesterday there was vomit ) and although my MS isnt anywhere near as bad as some other ladies Im really hoping it doesnt get any worse.

So when was your MS at its worst, in relation to weeks??

ETA Spelling.

Hugs hun, it really sucks, hope you find something that helps soon. Mine was worst between weeks 10-12, although I don't know if it actually got any better or I just got used to it!

Apart from feeling weak and sick I felt so cheated, I always thought I'd be one of those radiant glowing healthy pregnant women (do they even exist?)

Can't remember exactly when it was worst, but it lasted until about 16 weeks and sounds like yours - wasn't really really bad but felt very queasy and was dry retching or throwing up every morning. Actually I remember now had a work thing when I was 9 weeks and felt like you do now, it never got any worse but continued about the same until 16 weeks.

My only tips are - have breakfast before you even get out of bed if you can - I had dh bring me toast and juice in bed every morning, ate it and waited at least half an hour for it to digest a bit before getting up. Still usually felt sick but wasn't as bad as if I got up and did stuff on an empty stomach.

Apart from that just try not to get hungry, snack all the time.

Probably not very helpful and stuff you've heard before...hope it doesn't get any worse for you. Eventually it'll be a distant memory!

Same I cant remember the worst time- I think it was around the 10-14 week mark.... but I do remember the feeling of it going!!! And it is pretty amazing to see the back of it. You become pretty grateful for being able to eat again.
Hang in there- I totally sympathise.

MS for most women *apparently* peaks between 8-10 weeks so you'll be right in the middle of it. For me both times around that's been the case, now I've got the flu I'm not eating anything which is making it worse. From memory last time I just started getting used to it and then by about 16-18 weeks it was gone (although be prepared for it to come back in the 3rd trimester - the joys that some of us get eh?)

Hey Hun,

You sound just like me when i was pregnnt with Caden, 9 weeks-11 weeks was thw worst for me, thats when I dry retched a lot and vomited a few times.

Mine got heaps better after 11 weeks and by 15 weeks i was totally nausea free.

This time I havent had anything like that, but I have had nausea ans the gagging feeling and it was its worst at 9 weeks. I have been using the natro pharm, morningmed spray and its been GREAT! It really takes away that awful gagging feeling

Hopefully you feel better soon but just keep thinking, your little bean is doing very well if your so sick!

I am jealous of you ladies who found relief from morning sickness. I tried everything, B6, ginger, seabands, lemons and eventually Maxalon, but nothing worked    And mine lasted from 6-18 weeks both pregnancies. Hope you find something that helps!!!

I feel for yo hun - I had all day nausea up til 16 weeks. Only actually threw up a few times. But felt like I was going to all the time.
Like someone else said - I found that snacking all the time helped - eat little and often. Don't let yourself get too tired or too hungry as that seemed to make it worse. And sipping at soda water (usually flavoured with lime) helped a bit too.

I know ginger or almonds have helped some other people.

Thanks ladies, I am going to prepare myself for the next 3 weeks, but praying it gets better instead.
I have found snacking sometimes helps, not always though. Ive often felt worse after eating!! But fruit has been the biggest help so far. I do take the Maxolon in the mornings if the B6 and Ginger doesnt help.

Thanks for the link Sheza. I just gotta try and find it here in Aus. Maybe I can get it sent here.

OMG I vomited daily (and sometimes twice daily) from about week 7- 16  And felt sick as a dog and/or dry retching for every other second I wasn't vomiting

Had a few weeks reprise and now at 25 weeks, the nausea is slowly coming back...esp in the mornings.  Have gone off dairy almost completely, as well as eggs in most forms as they seem to make it worse. I know it's different for everybody though. I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hope you don't have what I went through..... I never got to the 'glowing' part og pregnancy (well haven't yet and don't hold out much hope now lol).

I'm a dick though cos I never even thought of medication....it probably would've helped alot.

As for the glowing, people regularily tell me I am looking fantastic and I am glowing. I DONT feel that way. I feel like utter crap, I have decided you glow on the outside cos if women knew how crap you actually felt, they wouldnt get pregnant!

I was a bit like Emmecat actually with nausea from weeks 6-16 and was vomiting most days at least once and up to four times a day.

I also never thought about medication which was ridiculous! I did try ginger tablets (just travel sickness ones) which worked a bit and right towards the end I tried the seabands for travel sickness which seemed to work as well.

Fingers crossed it doesn't come back because it was so unpleasant.    Hope you find something to make it better!

I imagine you could get it sent to you, but Im pretty sure Auddie would do the naturo Pharm Range?

ETA- My nausea came back a bit at 30 weeks for a few weeks aswell, not as bad as the first tri but still enough to annoy me, i think I made a thread about it.

i was vomiting all through from 6wks until 25weeks then felt great!!! Had kidney problems though which i don't think helped. I found the seabands better than any meds they gave me. It does get better. And now i have a lil boy took me a bit of time to think back to remember morning sickness. I personally have forgotten the worst of it. Good luck
