| hi, my baby boy is 5mnths old and exclusively breastfed, for the last couple weeks his burps and puke (he pukes alot) have smelt like rotten eggs. It makes me want to gag. Hadn't noticed any smell before this. Is this normal and will it go away? Or is it a sign that something isn't right. Any help/ideas would be so appreciated. Thanks |

Hi Angel4,
that doesn't sound normal to me for a exclusively breastfeed baby. Have you been eating anything in excessive quantities or taking any medication that might have caused it? I would take him to the doctor just to make sure everything is alright. |

poor boy that doesn't sound too nice  ... I would get him checked out by dr... My daughter (a lot older) had that once from giardia. I have heard it being an allergic reaction as well... doubt it serious but prob best to make a trip to the gp... all the best  ------------- mum to 3 lovely girls :D |
