This is the speech ive written for my friend's wedding today (im a bridesmaid ) , its feathery strokery , of course , but I thought id share .

Hi everyone, im Kelly, one of the bridesmaids, and one of Lauren's bestfriends.
The 3 of us have known Lauren a long time ,well before the James days and have seen her have some bad times and good times , but never have we seen her as happy as she is today .
The 3 of us can remember very clearly the day she told us about James , they were supposed to go to Waiheke with a group of friends , convienenty , the rest of the group never turned up ,as they were only 17 at the time we secretly thought it was a puppy love romance that would be short lived, but as you see, they proved us wrong .
The Lauren we knew from childhood was shy and unsure of herself , while she has certainly found her place in the world by stepping out of her comfort zone, we credit J and the unconditional love he has given her in helping her become the beautiful confident woman before you today .
James, we would tell you to take care of our girl, but after 6 years we know you've already proven that you will , time and time again,
Lauren, we love you and are so proud of you and very very proud to be part of such an important day in your life .
J and L its hard to think of another couple more deserving of the happiness a marriage between two people made for each other can bring .
And we cant wait for the day 50 years from now when you tell us it hasnt always been easy , but its been easier and one hell of a fun ride cos you've done it together .
We wish you a foreverness of happiness , please join me in toasting the happy couple .

see ? feathery strokery or what ? but never mind, too late to do any adjustments , I just wanted to have a record of it in case I lose the paper later
