Hi everyone, Im new to ohbaby as well as new to the idea of TTC!

My 3 year old was a surprise so I have no idea about temping and days of cycles etc!

I was just looking for some advice. I have just had my mirena iud removed and we started trying straight away even though im sure chances were not high.

Its been 7 days since removal and I thought I got my AF yesterday, but it only lasted an hour and since then, nothing...Im disappointed because I want to be able to work out when I would be ovulating, but since I have no idea about my LMP (since I had no AF at all for years on my IUD)...im a bit lost! Any words of wisdom would be appreciated :)

Thanks :)

Oh, and my ticker with my ovulation in it is just a wild guess, if what happened yesterday was really my AF then it would be (hopefully) accurate!

Welcome to OhBaby!

And yes it takes awhile to get to know your body again after having a break.

Not sure what the standard is for Mirenjavascript:AddSmileyIcon('')a's however my AF didn't arrive for a month and it took a couple of months to settle down.

In the meantime I would suggest you get a thermometer and start temping as it will help you understand your cycle. A good place to start (as they give information and guidance) is http://www.fertilityfriend.com - Fertility Friend - it's free and it's easy to use.

if you do decide to temp and chart then feel free to come over to the charts thread and get the girls there to have a look at your chart

Good luck and i hope your TTC journey is short.
