ok so this morning i thought i would try the mainly music up the round cause the library thing isnt working out.
so i get there after braving the rain, get the kids inside, pay my money, meet some lovely ladies.

then the music starts and gabriel starts to scream and cry, i tried to ignore him and concentrate on toby, then i tried to involve him but it made his crying and screaming worse, and so then - heres the ass part...

i start to cry too. a grown women, having a sook.

Toby meantime is crawling around grooving out to the music and having fun and i'm trying not to break down completely in front of a bunch of strangers. i held out for three songs before i picked up toby and took him to the car and then went back inside and just picked gabriel up and carried him to the car and we left. and i was still crying on the way home.

such an ass...

Oh Deb. Big big hugs!!! Keep your head up and don't be ashamed of how you feel. I can totally understand where you are coming from.

Deep breath and forget about it!

don't beat yourself up about it, i'm sure any one of the women there could tell you they have had a similar eaperience!
i can totally relate to how you must have felt, so you're not alone, and definitely not an ass.

Yeah, small blessing, atleast it was in front of a whole bunch of mothers! They'd know exactly how it felt.

Not an ass at all btw...

Good think to play on though... make hubby be extra-nice all the way until mother's day!

Noone would've thought any less of you, we've all been there. I've got 2 boys as well & get reduced to tears regularly - either tears or screaming!

It especially sux when you make the effort to take them out somewhere, and you think they'll enjoy themselves, but they're either too tired or grumpy & end up sabotaging the whole thing - I always feel like I've failed somehow & wonder why I botherd.

But hang in there, they change like the weather & would prob have a gr8 time if u decided to try again..
