Aaaaargh! I've been housebound for the past couple of weeks because my mum has borrowed our second car and hubby takes the babymover to work. I was going completely stir crazy, so yesterday decided that Andrew and I would drop Daddy off at work and have the car for the day. The only problem is, that in the time that I haven't been lifting Andrew in and out of the car and lugging his stroller, bag and kitchen sink in and out of the boot the preggers tummy has taken hold and all of the muscles and ligaments out in front and below have loosened. While it was great getting away from 'Home Prison' for the day, an hour along and I was ready to call it quits and let hubby walk home.
How is everyone else preggers and looking after littlies coping?

Im doing okay. Get a bit weary now and then. Altho I have a slightly older littlie...But trying to get her to pick up things off the floor and remember that Mum is not so "agile" is quite difficult.

You guys that have other tots are awesome.
Take my hat off to you!!!

Ive really started noticing how big my tummy is. when I open doors or go to reach over the bench for something I keep hitting my tummy. I had to move where I keep the laundry powder because I couldnt reach it with my tummy in the way. Looking after Kobe isnt to bad just harder to get up and down when we are on the floor and he keeps wanting to jump on me which can be a bit painful

I think it's extra frustrating when other people leave the house in the morning - I started resenting hubby going to work in the morning when I knew I had a day of Andrew herding ahead of me. The weather isn't helping at all.

i can totally relate. i don't drive either and in order to go out (assuming i want to brave the weather) i have to carry the big stroller downstairs. its not a big job without my belly, but since i popped out it has become increasingly difficult and a lot of the time i just can't be bothered. especially as i know it means carrying it back upstairs again afterwards!

Hey gals..

I know how this feels.. Ive had to stop driving as I cant fit behind the wheel and reach the pedals anymore and its a tad frustrating.. so is doing housework as cant bend over.. if im picking things up off floor I crawl around and do it..

But I must remember its only 2 weeks left and then its all over.. and I still wont be able to drive for 6 weeks and be stuck on the farm..

And to think - once bubs is out we will probably be all thinking about how wonderfully peaceful it was before.
