Haha, obviously I'm feeling very proud of myself for making this so I wanted to show it off here :) Lately Alyssa's terrible two's have been in full swing and seems to be getting worse so I made up a behaviour chart where she has to earn flowers to get to a reward. Of course she will lose a flower for naughty behaviour too..

So yeah, here it is. All made from craft foam stuff and I used velcro dots to be able to remove and add the flowers at will..

YAY ME!!

A couple of flowers removed so you can see what it looks like..

haha, of course not! I nicked the idea from Supernanny..she often uses reward charts with different themes depending on the child. I just made one with stuff I know Alyssa likes

Thanks, no I didn't use any canvas but I do need to get some thick cardboard or something for the backing cause it's literally all foam so is floppy.

Thanks everyone

It actually got me all excited about arty stuff again after I finished it, because I haven't done anything remotely arty or crafty since high school. Now I have so many ideas for more reward charts I'm just gonna start churning them out when I have time. She'll end up with a new one every time one is completed haha.

Well, day 1 of the reward chart. I explained how it works and she seemed to understand at the time.
To get the hang of it, I was trying really hard to give her a flower to start it off..but boy was that difficult! She was being so naughty while we have been home that I couldn't give her any, and I had none on there to take away from her either!!

What a dilemma! But thankfully she was particularly good at dinnertime so I thought it was a good excuse to reward her with one. Not long after dinner she wasn't listening and was playing up again so DH warned her he would take her flower away and boy did that work! She said "Noooo, leave it alone daddy!" and was good after that.

We'll have to see if this continues to work, but it's looking good now that we have got something there to threaten to remove
