I am looking for a place to purchase:

Oragnic cotton terry
Bamboo terry
Organic hemp terry

Can't find anywhere - heaos of velours which I am NOT interested in. Any advice? Ideally I want a NZ or Aussie company.

TIA

Have you loked at greenbeans.co.nz
http://www.greenbeans.co.nz - Greenbeans

They don't have much terry but you might be able to ask them to get some in.

You make it difficult for yourself asking for organic (I totally understand why, just no idea where to find it). Would love to know where you find them, if you do!

I know! I have been trolling all the sites (greenbeans included) and I cannot find anything. Yet I see organic towels and flannels for sale quite frequently. I figure where there are towels there must be fabric!

I knew I'd come across some somewhere in my web travels - you can get them all from http://organicculture.tripod.com/index.html - this site - American and probably hideously expensive, but you could probably bring in enough to sell some to pay for your own.

There's http://bubbaearth.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=organic&categories_id=1&inc_subcat=1&manufacturers_id=&pfrom=&pto=&dfrom=&dto= - bubbaearth.com.au but seems only their cotton is organic, not the hemp, and they don't have bamboo (I could be wrong though).

The other thought I had was to try the DIY section of The Nappy Network forums, there may be some people on there that know where to get it from...?

If it's for inserts you could try chopping up towels for the cotton, if they're not too thick?

Those sites are pretty good but so expensive. I may have to end up buying a roll. Yikes!
