I have a baby shower to go and I am trying to think of a present to give. Gosh you'd think after having 2 babies I should have some idea...

I was thinking a baby bouquet would be cool, has anyone given or been given one before?

I am trying to work out if it is something I could try making myself? Any one have any idea how to?

TIA

I got a bouquet from baby buds and it was gorgeous. The clothes were folded somehow to make flowers (am sure you can find something on the net or at the library to help with this) and secured at the base of the 'flower' with florists tape or you could probably use insulation tape. They had florists wire attached to make the stems and some had leaves made from cardboard attached as well. They might have been in oasis, I can't remember. The Baby Buds website lists what is in each bouquet so you could get an idea of what to include.

Good luck!

Not quite as cool as a bouquet but http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Diaper-Cake - here's how to make a nappy cake.

That nappy cake is very cool, I'd love one of those. I suppose you could be creative with coloured MCNs and inserts.

Oh Thanks for you help ladies

Those nappy cakes look very cool, will keep that in mind for someone else.

Had a bit of a hunt around and came up with a great way to make my own one from Martha Stewart, now to find florist tape and florist wire. Im assuming you just get them from a florist??
