shelves from the warehouse, that have the 3 cubbys in them? They came in pink blue white and wood I think, and we on special $25 for two or something to that effect.

If you have, have you found any box like thing to create a storage unit? Eg:

So the warehouse ones are one across by three high, and I want something like these pink thins to go in them, for no more then $10 each...

I feel like I've searched everywhere with no luck :( Any Ideas?

Try http://www.hsw.co.nz/shop/kids/ - Howard's Storage World - they have some stuff kindof like what you're talking about. Ezibuy used to have them as well.

You can get shelves like that at Target. They do loads of different configurations and aren't massively expensive either.

Good luck! I can tell you after searching for about a year that there are no boxes out there that fit the dimensions of those units.

If you do happen to find anywhere do let me know.

I've tried Howard's Storage World, Payless, Plastic Box, Para Rubber, Warehouse, Bed Bath & Beyond, Trade Me, Ezibuy and I think Target as well.

ETA: And all the $2 shops and anything else that looks remotely promising.

The Warehouse ones that have 3 cubbies. I have them (black ones) and they are great. Andrew has one in his room for books (well now toys), and the other is in the kitchen.

ditto!      charli has those bookshelf thingees in her room and i cannot find anywhere....anything...that will fit into it as a toy storage.   they just don't have the right dimensions...........i found some foldable boxes at a $2 type shop but they are about 30cm square, so won't fit   sames as bunnings, payless plastics and plastic box.

we have this big shelving unit in Paris's room - you get them from warehouse stationary - for about $100 from memory. we got the plastic cubes to put in the bottom - which you migth be able to see, then put toys etc in plastic containers with lids from the warehouse that can stack 2 per shelf (we use them for polly pockets etc)

(we also have one of those 3 cubby ones that we use for our stereo stand)

I got the canvas cubbys from Plastic Box that go in my bookcase one - Ive actually got shoes in mine!

Lying down the boxes where to small but if I stood the bookcase upright then the boxes where just a LITTLE bit to small - but didnt matter at all just a little bit of room on either side.

It looks great!

So I would try the ones at Plastic Box if I was you because they worked perfect for me!

I think Flake has the same issue I have - already purchased the Warehouse shelves thinking 'how hard can it be to get inners for them?' and then found out that there are none that fit.

Flake I will totally let you know if I find them. I had a big gripe to DH since he works at Warehouse HO but I don't think he ever told the buyer lol!

I've got one of the Target bookcases in my DS's room. I bought a couple of square wicker baskets, I think from Briscoes, for his board books etc, and they fit perfectly. Look much nicer than lurid plasticky colours (sorry to anyone who has those!)

As I said above the ones from Plastic Box do def fit. As thats what I have in mine.

The lady said you can bring them back if they dont fit - but mine fitted so I didnt need to take them back.

Where are you in NZ? If your in Chch your more than welcome to borrow my canvas boxes to see if they fit your bookcase.

Ive just seen them advertised at bunnings too, am going to go on wednesday and have a nosey cos I have been looking everywhere for something the same but didnt want to spend hundreds. My sister got some from plastic box but paid quite a bit for them. I want 6 cubes and then of course have to buy the boxes to go in them so didnt want to spend like $30 each cube which is so far the cheapest I have seen. Oh and looked at the warehouse ones too and though no way would i find boxes to go in them....glad I didnt try now!

Sorry Booboo I misunderstood. But I'd love to see what you have (and will probably head-desk when I see them because I probably went right past them in the shop)

Thats really cool... will have to check out whether you have found anything.

These shelves from the warehouse are great though i bought two black colour and two chocolate. I glued the two black ones together to make a coffee table (quite unique but quite cool i think) and have used one of the chocolate ones sideways as a storage unit on my kitchen bench.

If anyone is interested I went and checked out the ones at bunnings. They are $10.95 for the cube but they arent as deep as the bigger more expensive ones but they do sell really cool plastic boxs that fit in them for $10 as well. Im off to get some this weekend.
