ok ladies so the pics are back and i now cannot decide which one to enter into the baby pic comp i am entering the girls in, tell me which ones you like of each cos i just love so many of them (beleive me, these ones are the tip of the iceberg but the best, i think) I really cannot decide and only have till thursday to tell them.

I've entererd jake and Taine in the plunket comp too! Figured I might as well get the free pics! (well, kinda free). Are you going to order any others? |

mmm i keep thinking that one of the first two of ayja would be good but each time i look at the one of her in the chair it cracks me up just so much so that's why i am undecided.
Lizzle that's the same reason i entered them, for the free pics, hhhm am unsure about ordering more cos they are a little pricey - although the collections prices are ok so might be able to talk mike into getting a couple i hope - i mean, its been a year and Ayja hasn't had any pixi photos (which we usually end up buying the whole package) so maybe this might be a compromise. lolol. theres sooo many to choose from - how many didi you get? Ayja has a whole page and paris has 2 pages - i wouldn't know which ones i liked best. Also, we have a digi camera and can take some quite nice ones ourselves. Might go and get the pixie ones done (freebies!) soon. Nice now that the Warehouse has a permanent stand! |

As I mentioned before each time I get portraits done I end up spending major amounts of money. First time we spent $120 and only got two pages + free. Last time I booked in and we spent $310. Mum and dad, MIL and we shared the cost tho....so $100 each. We got all 7 poses and we are also getting the massive poster like photo for free.....But still $310 is expensive. plunket in association with one of the photography studios is running a baby contest. So you ring up and make an appointment. You go in and they shoot a few pics. Send you the proofs and you chose one to enter the contest. In June,after the contest is finished, you get to keep the pic. The entry fee is $10 and you can buy other copies, but a regular photo size is $30 I think.
Anyway, between June 1-24 the photos will be on Display in Downtown Palmerston North and members of the public vote for who they think is the cutest (or more commonly, who they know and are related to). Then the winner receives.....I don't know exactly. I wanted the pics but now I WANT TO WIN! If someone else (except you Janine - your girls are allowed to win ), it's probably because of pity votes.

lol its just a button in my photo shop thing.. didn't take much - it's the function that turns black and white pics into antique looking - but if you use it on colour pics it makes them black and white and pastel

i dunno about that becca, I don't post as much any more and i have 6 weeks of placement starting next week then revision and 2 weeks later i have state finals exam and searching for job etc.. so i prob won't be on here much, that should give most people plenty of time to overtake me... i think Lizzle is top-runner only 56 to go, .... she could do that in a day if she was really pedantic. ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

nope not too late - ring Nothing Negative and make an appointment - she is taking pics up till 31 May i think... there's no link to the pics - she sends you the proof sheet of them by email if you list your email address on the form... you should enter the kids, the comp will be full of Oh-baby bubbas. ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

We ended up choosing the really cheesy one of Ayja sitting in the chair, and the one of PAris on her tummy laughing. they just showed the girl's true attitudes so i thought they were best.. and cute.
