I want to try Ava on Oatmeal Cereal. She is 6 months old and has been on solids for 3 weeks or so.

Is there a Watties brand or something like Farex i should be looking for? I couldn't find anything at the supermarket tonight.

Also for home made solids, how thick should i now be making her veges and fruit?

i've used the watties baby musli...its in a red box, normally beside the farax ones. There are also fruit flavoured ones as well, some say 7-9 months but Joels been on them since he started and has had no problems.

I make his food thick but not as thick as just  mashing it. I normally water down his fruit so I can add baby musli to it to thicken it. Tonight he had potato and pumpkin mashed with gravy and half a tin of lambs fry and bacon mixed in...he ate that fine. (the mash was leftover from our dinner and I had mashed it with butter and forgotten but he was fine with it)

Caden has the Farex Fruit Musli for breakfast, its fine texture and i mix it up with hot water. There is a plain one for 6-7 months as well which is what he started on after baby rice.

for reference, if allergies, watties fruity baby muesli contains milk products and apple, farex fruity baby muesli contains soy and pear.
