Okay, I am really confuzzled about all the different sorts despite reading about them. What I think would be the perfect nappy is this:
Different sizes (s,m,l) Snaps Pockets Elastic legs that can be adjusted Is there such a thing or am I just being a dork?? -------------

I thought there was a one size pocket with snaps .. actually i thought there were a few brands that did that.
They are the ones that have rows of snaps across the nappy so you can make them shorter to fit a younger bub. I cant recall the names of the brands though off the top of my head .. but if you look at mothers instinct or snazzipants im sure they cant be that hard to find. Otherwise TNN has loads of info ------------- Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months) I did it .. 41 kgs gone! So I have this right - are you looking for a one-size nappy, or a nappy that comes in different sizes?
The only nappy I know of that has adjustable leg elastic is the new Fuzzi One-Size, but I don't think it's on the market here yet. The only other one-size pocket with snaps that I know of is the Swaddlebees Econappi, which comes with snaps or velcro and adjusts in size with poppers down the front to shorten the rise of the nappy. Don't Baby Cheeks (the ones sold at Baby City) have adjustable elastic in the legs? A lady from my coffee group used them them and I'm sure I remember her saying it was. -------------

I want ones that come in different sizes....am hoping to have a couple of babies so figure better this way.

Joel eze naps have snaps to adjust the leg width. The best thing would pobably to have a look at

we have some baby cheeks and they are pretty good - took me awhile to get the leg elastics just right but now that's sorted they are good, never had any leaks yet. they are snaps, with leg elastics, pockets, one size fits all - the benefit of osfa is that all your nappies fit all your babies, so as long as you have clean nappies the kids are all sorted! ------------- ~Cassie~

SIL has just bought the ones that Farmers sell - pretty sure they are Baby Cheeks. They are OSFA (one size fits all) but do have snaps and adjustable leg elastic. Not sure how good they are though as her baby is till cooking! ------------- Lindsey

The lady from our coffee group never had a problem with them either and used them until she started back at work when her son was a year old. -------------

If you want a nappy that comes in different sizes with snaps then there are plenty of choices. As long as you go for one that has a set of snaps each for the legs & waist you'll get a good fit without needing to adjust the leg elastic (which sounds like a bit of a pain to me). I'd recommend taking a look at Honeychild pocket nappies, I think the fit is brilliant and they're really well made so would easily last more than one child. You could buy new from their website or local rep (who'll even come to your house to give you a free demo) or preloved off Trade Me or The Nappy Network. -------------
