my dad rung me this afternoon and told me he has leukemia!!!!
he's only just found out so couldn't get into any details without breaking down so i don't know anything yet, but i think he said he's starting chemo this week......i'm just so shocked and numb! i was in the warehouse toilet when he rang and burst into tears after i walked out, a couple of old ladies looked at me funny.......i'm now chugging back a bourbon which is helping a little.....i'm not looking forward to telling my DH and brother when they get home i'm so so scared for him and my mum  ------------- http://www.alternatickers.com">

remember (and this is tough), leukemia is not necessarily a death sentence. my aunt was diagnosed and given a year to live....then lived for another 10 years. (she was in her 70s when she passed away). |
