It's a club for wholesale shopping, with great brands and apparently current stock. I'm looking at joining but there's a membership cost and the fact that they don't state it on the www makes me wonder how high it is and if it's worth it.

Can anyone shed any light? It's meant to be great for baby products!

I did it for a year, and for us it was the biggest waste of money ever!

I guess it could be good if the location is handy (our was an hours drive away) If you are keen on buying lots of big branded expensive items and if you are prepared to stick it out long term.

We joined up thinking it would be great for baby products too but when we finally had a good look we noticed they only seemed to stock a few of the really expensive brands, I guess its good if thats what you want to go for us personally we were just as happy for the middle of the road stuff which we could still get cheaper.

Nappies (huggies) we found we often cheaper at pak'n'save, and a few other things we found we could get just as cheap or cheaper from the warehouse. Board games, lego, kids toys etc.

With place like the Warehouse having access to major brands through parallel importing the prices are virtually the same because of sheer volume.

In my opinion I wouldnt do it!

If you are doing something massive, like big renovations on your home, or i spose having a first baby and like branded products then it might be worth it.

However, there is a sign up fee that is quite high - about $700 i think and then yearly membership fees (can't remember how much tho but maybe $200)

They do have a wide range of stuff tho, just catalogues and catalouges of products.

( i worked there for a few months when i was younger)

We belong - i think you are looking at the 1000 dollar mark to join and its around 100 a year after that - we are renovating so good for us - baby stuff is ok but as someone else said it is the high end stuff

Do you have any family to join with you to share the expense? I used my parents account & got our dble MB & house paint really cheaply BUT I wouldn't buy a subscription for just baby gear unless you were looking at buying new highend branded products for everything.
