What age do people reckon would be the earliest age you'd put a baby in a JJ?

Is it all dependant on head control or once they are strong in keeping their feet flat?

At quick glance it doesn't really say in the instructions except that " you are quite big enough to use the Jumper when you are 3 mths old"

It really does depend on head control. Dominic had a really big and heavy head so he didn't go in the jolly jumper until he was about 6 months old but Isobelle has been in it since she was 2.5months old.

I put bubs in it when she was about 3.5 months - I think they are suppose to have head control. I find it great to use before my 3ish fed as it makes bubs tired for the afternoon sleep!

I put him in it when I got it this arvo & he loved it! He has got good head control & has very strong legs. he's been standing on my lap for ages. I was a bit worried about his feet.

No probs with the feet, just the head is all that matters. I have used one before 3mos but can't remember exactly when.

Phew!! Thanks everyone....I'll only be putting him in it for short periods totally supervised for now before I feel brave enough to venture further than me sitting next to him.

Maya was in it at 3 mths on the dot pretty much, as was Chiara but the gremlins were more like 5 - we tried them at 3 mths but they didn't have good enough head control.

Aww cute!
We got ours last week, though DD could have been in it from about the same age as your DS.

I wondered about their feet too, my DD curls her toes under her feet and I worry about her bouncing up and down on the tops of her feet, IYKWIM..
Is this quite normal? Will her feet still develop in a normal way?

Kriss, I had a look at his feet when he was in it today & it's like they are trying to grab the ground with their toes.
