my house is boring old white so can't advise you - have you looked at ezypaint on www.resene.co.nz - you can try different colours and see what they look like together

good luck!

A grey tint works well with Ironsand, New Denim blue, Charcoal, Grey Friars, Millenium silver, Silver pearl etc. The green tint goes well with sandstone grey, silver pearl, artic white and sometimes off white.

Its a shame your not in Dunedin i could have helped you out. I used to be an aluminium joiner(make the windows and doors) and could have help with your colour combos.

It all depends to on the style and location of the house and materials to as to how the colours will go.

I have just done a house for my parents that has Sandstone Grey frames with evergreen glass.

Also there are a couple of shades of green glass too I assume the one you have as a option is the light green as the evergreen one is really expensive.

Go to an Aluminium window place Eg rylock, altherm, elite or fairview and see some examples of their work to get some ideas. they should have porfolios of the jobs they have done

good luck!

we are painting our house and windows at the moment and after spending countless hours on dulux and resene websites, buying testpots and looking at colour charts i'm feeling abit

just be aware, the colours on the websites can look completely different in real life! i got excited about a dulux colour that i found online and when i got a testpot, it was completely different.

we've tried 7 different colours and finally decided on 'young nicks head'   its a dark stone/grey colour and we doing our windows and surrounds crisp white to offset the dark house. our roof is denuim blue

if you go for the blackish windows, a light stone/grey house would look good........?
