Im having a water birth but there is a pool at the hospital. Are you having a home birth?

I'm thinking of giving it a go. I think my local hospital has one already though *fingers crossed*

I did it at the hospital last time but really want to do it at home if I can!! But if the choice is home birth or water birth at hosp then i will be going for the water birth!
But i really want both!!
Last estimate i got (from my mum so i don't know if she knows or pulled a figure out of thin air) was $400!! I don't think we can pay that much!

Just thinking outside the square a bit here...
Have you tried looking into hiring a spa pool and just putting in a liner so that it's as clean as you need it to be (before and after use)? Might be a cheaper option?

Have you contacted the home birthing people in your area we are in taranaki and our hospital don't have a pool, but my friend hired one through them to have at the hospital.
