To French and Saunders, they are coming end of July beginning of August, I think DH should pay for me to go as a "thankyou for giving birth to my child you remarkable woman " type gift .

I think that sounds like a fair deal  .
I suggest that YOU buy the ticket, put it in a pretty 'thank you' card and give it to DH on the way to hospital when you are in labour. Tell him it is to be given to you AFTER the wee boy arrives. That way he won't have a leg to stand on!! -------------

Jennifer Saunders - Eddie , from Absolutely Fabulous, the voice of the Fairy Godmother in Shrek , etc . They are comediennes , very funny ladies . Jaycee , sounds like a good idea Chickielou-actually , my poor DH knows me so well that he could cut his leg off and he would still say "oh well, at least im not giving birth" , he is very good if im feeling uncomfortable , heating me wheat bags, running me baths etc, and him giving me a gift wouldnt actually be that unusual , hes much more romantic than me  -------------
