Lauren had a tummy bug last week and stopped vomiting on Friday, but she still hasn't wanted to eat anything.

She will take 100 odd mls of milk in her bottle and will drink water. She has had the odd bite of a banana or a slice of orange, but other than that she is just not interested. Usually she is a bottomless pit when it comes to food and eats all day long.

I guess as long as she is drinking, she won't be dehydrated so I just play a waiting game until she gets her appetite back again?

Yeah, pretty much. Sam had a tummy bug last week from Saturday night till Tuesday and only really started eating again on Friday/Saturday. Up until then the only thing I could get her to eat happily was those fruit squirts sachets and milk. Even now she is still down at around 100-120ml of milk though.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

Thanks for that info.

Well she just at a handful of grapes and a big bowl of jelly. Not my ideal choice of food, but atleast she ate something!

When Dom is sick we always go with jar food, it is smooth and easy to eat. Only Organics Mango Rice pudding always works for us, might be worth a try. her throat might be sore from vomiting. Poor Lauren I hope she is feeling better soon.

She should be ok but just watch for relapses. Our eldest goes off food entirely during/after a tummy bug and it takes her a long time to recover (including throwing up again 48 hours later), we suspect due to her not eating enough to properly recover. Offer the BRAT (bananas, rice, apples, toast) diet and fluids and she should come right soon.
