Just watching the news and a lady found poisonous night shade berries in her frozen pea's!! So there has been a warning released foe everyone to check their frozen peas for these berries.
One tablespoon of them can kill or make a baby or small child very sick, Adults would need to eat a whole lot of them.
We give Caden peas every night, this has made me feel sick to my stomach!

Caden LOVES them, has them every night and eats almost every single one off his tray, so this has made me feel quite nervous

Thank goodness I hate peas.
I prefer buying fresh veges at least I know when I cook them I know what I am putting in it.
There have been too many gross things found in food these days.

put it in a container and take the bag and the berry into the store you got it from kandice, they have to take all the rest out of the freezer and report it to the ministry of health and also the company, and you get a refund

Wow Kandice that's so crazy you were boiling peas when you read this thread and then found that!!! How frightening!!
How the hell does that deadly nightshade berry end up in a bag of peas anyway!?!

Its because it grows amongst peas quite commonly anyway and they must have a machine that picks or sorts them. They actually aren't poisonous, they wouldn't kill anyone who ate them just make kids a bit sick. Still not cool to have in your peas though

It's not deadly nightshade anyway apparently, it's nightshade but a different variety. Still not what I want showing up with my peas!

It was black nightshade not the deadly ones. If your peas have a star or a stork on top and seeds on the inside then it's probably not a pea. I think it was just the talley's brand. As at the supermarket they have none of that brand.
