We found out at the last midwife visit that bubs is being difficult and has decided to be head down but facing out (apparently common with a first preg). So I did what my midwife told me and changed my work chair to one of those kneeling typing stools which cut off the circulation to my shins! So I bought a 75cm swiss ball off Trade Me, which arrived in the post this morning. It’s heaps more comfortable than the kneeling stool! Only problem is that now the boys in the office want to take a photo of me for our staff newsletter! I emailed my hubby, expecting some sympathy and he wants a photo too! SO NOT NICE! (but I bet I do look a sight! )

Toni......I hope your bub faces down soon. I had the same thing with Zaara and nothing I did helped....so ended up with a c section.

I hope the ball thing helps...I wish I knew this earlier.....Oh well.

look you lot you're not gonna get a photo! LOL If I was at home and it was just hubby taking it then it wouldn't be so much of an issue but I'm at work and I would have to ask one of the boys to take it and then it would be all over the company

If anyone is thinking of getting one I think they're awesmoe! I bought my swiss ball from a company called Fitness Hire Ltd in Auckland (off Trade me) and it was $29 including the pump for a 75cm ball (the largest size). I found I got really bad lower back pain with my kneeling stool and I've been sitting on this since 9am and it's been great so far (although when I stand up it does make me feel like I'll fall face first lol) and doesn't look as bad as sitting on a dougnut (then the guys would think I had 'roids which I would find much more embarrassing! LOL)

Will keep you posted on the turning, I have a midwife visit Thursday night
