I attempted to do one a couple years ago. It was a 2 week one where I wasn't allowed any caffeine, alcohol, cigarettes or red meat. On top of that I had to take copious amounts of detoxing vitamins each day. I lasted 5 days before I threw the plastic jar of vitamins at DH's head.

I've done the Good Health - 7 day Body Cleanse last year, You do have to take quite a lot of pills every day but you can also do it for a month so you don't have to take so many pills each day.
They recommend that you try and cut-out/reduce processed foods so lots of fresh fruit and veges and lean meat. I did it with DH which was better as we could keep each other going - felt like a long week and I was over the pills by the end of it (and really wanted to give up) but did make me feel better - lighter IYKWIM.
Good luck with what-ever you decide.

I've been seeing a naturopath for a month so far, and she gave me a tincture which included detox herbs and fertility herbs.
I had to take it for a whole month, and for the first week I had extreme tiredness, pimples and headaches (which are side effects of the detox working) and I had my first regular cycle and ovulated that month.
One thing to note though is you're not supposed to do any kind of detoxing if you are trying to conceive, so you might have to take a month off.

I did the cabbage soup diet, google it if you are interested. It was tough sticking to it and I haven't been able to do it since but during that week I felt so good and it helped kickstart my weightloss at the time.

Oxy, I would recommend seeing a naturopath if you are thinking about doing a detox in order to get some professional advice. I did a detox through an iridologist a couple of years ago and it was great. It made me sick before it made me better though so you need to be prepared!

I did one a few years ago. Only a 5 day one but all I could have was freshly juiced veges beetroot, carrot, celeriac and apple. It was REALLY hard!
TMI....Beetroot makes your poo red! and by the 5th day so is your pee.
I felt sooooooooo good after though. I still have the juice 3 times a week but only 100ml.

Hi I did the lemon detox for 1 week and I really think it helped me get pregnant. I got my BFP a month later after trying for almost a year. I also felt really good after it was finished but I have to say it was a really hard week.

The best detox you can do is give up/cut down on junkfood, smoking, alcohol. Eat lots of healthy food, exercise and get enough sleep. Do that for a week (or the rest of your life) and you'll be much better of than a week of starving and expensive drinks. Boring but it works.
