Sorry if this is a bit TMI.
I just really want to know how many times a week (or even a month) is the norm for people? You obviously dont have to answer your own personal record keeping per week, but I just want to see everyones opinions on how many times you think is "healthy" or "enough" I really find it amusing that DH thinks everyone does it twice a day

We have our "horny" moments  sometimes its anywhere between once - five times aweek and other times it once or twice a month. -------------

Before now used to be once a day, sometimes more (he was stoked!) but now he's lucky if its once a month! (and yep, he MOANS all the time) 
Not sure what I will be like after bubs is born though. I think it depends on how loving he is towards you, if he expects you to roll over and just give it out cos he feels the need then its not worth it! But if he makes you feel special first then of course you will be good to go

At the moment we only manage to fit it in a couple of times per week. We'd both love to more often but it's difficult when we hardly ever see each other (we spend about 15 mins per day together Mon-Fri unless I meet him at lunchtime and TBH the middle of Wellington CBD during business hours really is not an appropriate setting lol). Before I got pregnant (and the tiredness that comes with it) I used to wait up for him to get home a few times per week with the sole purpose of getting some weekday action. -------------

lol um not very often at all. The day after AF has finished we could every day for a few days then once the next week then thats it. We used to most days DH is off work (he is a shift worker so is home 4 days out of 8) but now I guess it would be once or twice a week. I have a feeling it'll be more now that DH has convinced me that we should get rid of the condoms (sorry for the TMI)

lol, Ive forgotten how I even got pregnant.....
I cant stand sex when im pregnant, I feel icky and weird about it, plus it hurts like hell So poor DH is not getting any I DO feel bad and I wish i felt like having sex, but I just dont have any sexual urges at all at the moment!
3 months after Caden was born we started having sex again, and it was great!!! but then I got pregnant lol... I will make it up to him once this baby is born! lol ------------- |

I have done the condom box thing too. He always complains that we dont do it enough, and yet we had a script for 360 condoms and they've gone. Yeah, we "never" do it

I feel sorry for my DH, he used to get it every 2nd day sort of thing when ttc.

LMAO!!! my DH thinks the same and iv always been curious to ask just so i could show Dh and say "SEE!!! YOU ARE NOT DEPRIVED ANYMORE THAN THE NEXT MAN!!!!"
Ours has varied over the years! when we first got together 10 years ago it was several times a day!!!  (we were horny teens!!) then evened out to generally once a day then i got pregnant with Bay and somewhere in that haze i got bad depression and only did it when i "had" to so around 3 times a month.
Generally now its once a week because doing it when your the size of a whale doesnt apeal to me! in non pregnant state it is around every 4 days.
Max time in between was 2 months without and that was because firstly DH had kidney probs so on alot of drugs and not into it!! then when he choped part of his hand off and once again on strong drugs!!

For years it was always me wanting it,..and i was horny as when preg,..but not at all wanting to since I had Isla. Usually once or twice a fortnight, when ttc every second day for a week then back to once a week or less. |

| Well TBH not very often since Isobelle was born maybe 2 or 3 times. But before that it was often every day or every second day and before Dom (even when we weren't ttc) it was definately everyday. So I think DH feels a bit neglected but I'm soooo tired. 1 FOTx1 HWB = NS ( 1 full on toddler x 1 hard work baby = no sex!) |

DH is lucky if we do it once a week. Occasionally there are times we do it more often but usually he's out all week so when we do see each other I am just exhausted. -------------

well lets just say that we still have the condom box of 12 at home which we got when were on honeymoon last year in May. Yes there are still some left in it.
For some reasonI think we will be waiting a while for a BFP when we start TTC |

me too. To be honest, I had totally forgotten all about it. you all just reminded me I have a script for condoms. I need to get going with that. Poor DH. he is very good and isnt pressuring me. Its just the last thing on my mind and I need to be romanced I think. I'm almost a bit scared of it (well look...it knocks me up too easily). I did say that once James was in his own room it would be easier and that was a week ago. Oh well...maybe over Easter....so a few times a week you reckon....sheessssh! Maybe we'll start with once or twice |

| im actually surprised at how many people use condoms! I know I shouldnt be and its very responsible and all that but I dont know of any married or long term couples that still use them...not that I ask everyone but you know friends and stuff and it comes up in conversation. |

We HAVE to use condoms. I'm not on the pill (have been BF and don't like the minipill) and the one time we didn't use one, along came Jett. We've used them for over 8 years, and have never had an "Accident" - well, Janaya was, but we didnt use one that night.
The pill plays around with my body, and the Depo gave me depression, and well, the IUD scares the crap out of me So condoms it is until I pluck up enough courage to get an IUD put in.

We never last on the idea of using condoms. I was on the pill for ages, then the injection, the injection was the worst thing i ever went on especially when wanted to ttc soon after!

Well we do the whole withdraw thing lol I know its not a method but it works ok for us. I'm allergic to the pill and depo, have a latex allergy and hate rubbers anyway.
As for 'special cuddles' weeeellll lol DP just got his second shag of the day and thats pretty normal for us. From the time Jake was 7 weeks old we've been 2+ times a day for about 5-6 days of the week. Luckily I only have a 4 day AF coz I think we'd both be climbing the walls

LOL well I don't know what'll happen when I next get preggers coz with Jake I soooo didn't do booty call after the 6 week mark!!! I think it'll be abit of a shock to his system if that happens next time (we weren't together when I was preggers with Jake). Ahh well I've been telling him hes a bloody lucky man so this just confirms I was right! -------------

We were about once or twice a week before getting pg...sometimes more (if I got him in a good mood)....now that I'm pg, I think it's been about 4 times all up this year??? Drives me mad!!!! I would happily have it every night, but DH feels weird about it (the classic old I might bump them on the head thing).....I'm working on him though  It's always been me wanting it more than him though!! It doesn't bother him, never has, if he doesn't get lucky.

Luckily I have a man who doesn't seem to mind too much, we're both pretty shattered most of the time so sleep is far too attractive. Well since Kyle we have had 3 failed attempts at sex. A 2nd degree internal tear = extremely painful intercourse
Whilst pregnant I was after it everyday Before children and between children it was maybe 2-3 times per week sometimes less depending on what else was happening in our lives.-------------

Not at all at the moment. If I ever stop feeling sick then we'll probably go back to once a week like last pregnancy.
Non-pregnant probably average twice a week depending on how tired we are. And we use Condoms here too. Pill made me go nuts (literally) and with the IUD worked fine for 3 years and then I got an infection that wouldn't go away until it came out. Can't be bothered with the diaphram tbh. -------------
