| Well Ive just given myself my first dose of insulin and only cried for a minute! The actual pressing the button didnt take anywhere as long as I thought it would, probably because Im used ot doing the finger test now but when I saw the needle and the nurse demonstrating I just about threw up then burst into tears but still I did it! Not looking forward to doing it again but I guess the worst is over. Just had to share cos Im still stunned that I actually did it. |

| thanks guys, just did another one (have to do it before each meal) and did it no probs. Figure I dont have a choice so just got on and did it plus had Kobe trying to jump on me and see what I was doing so didnt have a chance to be nervous. |
