didnt know where to put this..............i have just gotton out of hospital and thought i wouold share........i was rushed in with difficultie breathing and heart problems ....... i was sooo worried about baby which didnt help....anway when i got there my hB was 200 and rising (fun times) they tried everything to slow it down but nothing seemd to work and just as they where about to inject me with soemthing it slowed enough to breath.... all through this the baby remaind kicking and HB was the same.....tough bugger........they gave me injection to thin blood which heart like 20 bees ......they didnt know what had happened as i was sitting down having a cup of tea when it started.......i was monitored all ngith and they said it was signs of clot in the lung but couldnt find any clot in leg...so they put it down to SVT which i have completly forgot what that means............has anyone else experienced this? the bumma thing is now there concidering inducing me ............and to top it off im on crutches for a split pubic bone and they nurse put the lua through an artery so i made a fountain of blood .....dont think i was suppose to get pregs lol ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

| I think you mean DVT - Deep Vein Thrombosis. If this sounds right, PM me. If you've been on the crutches, I'd say immobility may have been a contributing factor, or it's related to the bone problem. |

Jeepers, you poor thing, sounds like a freaky experience! I don't have any advice or knowledge of what you're going through but just wanted to say, sounds like your wee bubba is a strong one and best of luck to you if you do need an induction.

no hun SVT - Supraventricular Tachycardia deep vein thrombosis doesnt make your heart beat up to and beyond 200beats........being on crutches is a totally different thing and unrealated to SVT........i have a split pubic bone. so i know what i have i just wanted to share and if anyone had the same thing........apart from my dad which he obviously cant help :-) ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

kiwisj - Babe...thanks for your words...........actually its funny cause i decided to lean over coffee table to makke breathing easier (nurse for a mum helps) and my boy did the same over otherside.....as i was taking deep breaths to try and slow things down my boy did it to and blew into my face.........and thinking about that made me smile through it all dispite all the pain...........before i left i told him mummy is going to hospital and to be good for poppa...today i said next time mummy goes to hospital it will be for a new bubba he wimpered when i said hospital  thinking that both my bubbas are meant for something cause Ty went through hell and back with me  anyway enough rambling  ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

| Oh hun! That sounds so scary! Glad bubs is doing OK, but take care of yourself and hopefully with monitoring etc they can manage it. And ouch about the pubic bone - you're not having a good time of it! Glad Ty's been making you smile though - kids are great for therapy I reckon. |

i wanted this one naturally as my last one was emergency and they fd up so was in there for a month......they left the choice up to me but only if nothing happened between now and then.......mmmmmmmmmm. see MW this week and specialist next week so will find out then what the hap is......but i have to say i dont know if this is cause of this placenta in front but man can this baby move.....now i really hope its a girl cause i choose the name from a girl who got beaten to death as a baby........it happened when i found out i was pregs so felt i needed it ...if this makes any sence and people understand where i coming from  ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

Yeah I remember reading your birth story I was gonna ask bout VB too coz it sounds like it could be difficult with the split pubic bone! I really hope that this one goes better for you despite the obvious complications.
Thats so cute what Ty did when you were leaning over the coffee table. Aren't our kids so precious?!! I get what you mean about naming your baby - my cousin had the same feeling. -------------

yeah i dont know much about the pubic bone thing ...tried to google but didnt really make things clear...i know MW said to stay on crutches otherwise ill have trouble but that was via txt message so havent talked to her about it.........in the morning im not so bad so dont use them and it a bit hard with holding tys hand and crutches while shopping............i will have to get more information from her ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

Hi Hayley, didn't know what you were talking about at first but glad I kept reading.
Yep I've had that...bloody scary! 1st episode was when i was playing hockey around the age of 13 or 14, was put down to exertion while playing. 2nd episode freaked me out, I was about 19? I was half way up the side of Mount Tongariro just above the hut by the springs, so those that don't know...above where it steams!! All I did was turn from looking at the scenery, & whammo all of a sudden my heart was beating the area of my neck down to the bottom of my ribs & out to the side of my body. My Dad was ahead a good 15m & I couldn't yell at him. I remember thinking I have to get to him, so I forced myself to walk & at this point I think that Dad realised something was wrong so he stopped & we sat down & he tried to feel my pulse with my wrist LOL I said just put your hand on my chest. Lucky it stopped. ETA: there was no cell coverage up there, we were both vodaphone & we could see a cell tower on the next mountain over but no way of connecting, I think Dad would have got me airlifted off LOL but we had to walk back down! I think both companies cover up there now but I'll always go out with one of each. I went to the Dr when I got back & he did said that basically cause I survived that I had a good heart ( or was told that not to freak me out!) but it was SVT & that I was to avoid stress. The above came about as I'd just had my exams at uni the day before, had been feed up on coffee all week which I never normally had so basically set myself up for an episode. I now drink coffee & try not to stress. Also if it happens you press behind your windpipe or on your eyeballs to "reset" the nerves? Apparently your head thinks your heart has missed a beat & trys to catch up so you need to reset it?? I've had a few mini episodes since but nothing as severe. I always end up with a sore throat as the main atery bruises your throat. Is your blood pressure normally very good? Aliasmum - thanks for that.......i got a phone call today to say they are still investigating it and it may not be SVT although that is what it showed on ECG.......they tried rubbing the neck but it didnt do anything and beat remained the same , also blew into syringe (that was a new one) and that made it worse.........as i wasnt doing anything (literally ) at the time to over do it ...it has people double thinking.......i did however feel the baby up near my chest........which they are not rulling out as the cause as aparently when it moved my beat went down some what.......to me this sounds weird as but as long as we can be one big happy family soon that is all that matters to me.........and honestly i have double time packed eerything now haha ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

Aw hon, I'm sorry about that but you know induction doesn't mean you will have another scary birth, it can still a positive experience. I have everything crossed that it is a positive experince & that you &bubs will b well, healthy & happy

Thanks! We think he is adorable of course. In that photo he had just had a lovely time with a tub of yoghurt and very little of it made it into his mouth! When I bathed him later on I even found some behind his knees, it's anyone's guess how it got there!

just to update....specialist put me on tabs to slow heart rate down...but.................. she said that if i start passing out then i have to spend the rest of the time in hospital.............next week i have to see cardioligist and authitest (man i cant spell) and antenatal again as they still dont know if i can go for natural birth now...ok so leaving it late arnt we..............and to top it offf the register that i saw looked and acted exactly like that new doc on shortland st.....crack up.........she did a scan and she said 'it looks like you are having a same size baby as last" told her that i didnt want a 9pounda so naturally i told her to stop making my day worse and then she kept calling it a boy..........slip of tongue? did she see bits? or did she just say it cause she didnt want to use "it"? i want a girl dammit ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">
