I have ben told by my ob that we should wait 2 cycles before TTC again. I am tempted not to wait that long....apparently I have 2 cells waiting to be released this week (according to the follow up scan) and the temptation is proving too big...2 - this is my biggest chance to have twins..and I always wanted twins..OB said everything in there looks healthy and a 100%...so do I wait or go for it? Any thoughts to help me out...why do they want you to wait in any case?

I think they advise you to wait for dating as well as emotional reasons.
If you have a couple of cycles, then when you do get pregnant again then conception can be more accurately pinpointed - giving a more clear-cut EDD.
At the end of the day, it's your body and your call
Good luck!

Up to you hun. Obviously I didn't wait, I had assumed it would take ages to get preg again given how long it took to get the first one.
If you are emotionally ready to start again and there are no medical reasons holding you back, I'd say go for it.
One piece of advise - falling pregnant straight away does your head in!

My doctor just told me we could start trying again whenever we felt ready - she said about waiting for my first AF so we could date it more easily but said if you're up to it emotionally and physically then go for it sooner.
So I probably wouldn't wait if it were me.

They only really tell you to wait for dating purposes, a lot of girls here got pregnant waiting for their first AF to come and it never did!
I think it is really up to you personally, do you think you could handle getting pregnant straight away, it can be quite hard to be pregnant again with all the worry of last time.
We waited becuase even tho I thought i was ready, DH knew i wasnt and he was right, im pleased we waited and although i have had moments of worry and stress, it would have been far worse for me if we hadnt of waited. By the way, i am quite young, M/C happened when i was 22 so i spose i wasnt really up to it emotionally, someone older mite have been able to handle it better than i did.

I have also been told by a number of different specialists that they reccomend you wait for emotional and dating reasons. When I asked if there was an increased risk by not waiting they said no, if you body isnt ready it wont happen. So go for it if thats what you really want - we did although it didnt work out for us for other reasons.
