Subject: Which Baby Food Recipe Book to buy?

I have a 6 1/2 month old baby and would like to buy a baby food recipe book but am unsure which one to buy. Ideally I would like a NZ published book with good practical ideas, ie recipes that make up big batches for freezing and/or recipes that can be made for the whole family and baby's portion pureed/chopped after. Definitely Baby food and beyond by Alison Holst & Simon Holst. You can probably find it cheap on TM.

I wouldn't go buying one. Did you get an iron rich recipe booklet in your bounty pack? Otherwise PM me your address and I will send it to you (I'm not keeping it). Basically stick with your meat/veg/pasta dishes but remove his from the pan before adding flavourings (salt, spices, etc). Then chop or puree and leave it to cool while you complete the family meal. -------------  |
