Does anyone know of a good place to stay for cheapish costing in Wellington? I need to be close to the Law faculty of the university.

its right next to the train station so if you cant find anything cheap try petone. its where we live and its awesome plus heaps and heaps of cheap places to stay. takes 15 mins to get there. there are lots of places to stay in the middle of the city but i dont know of any that wouldnt cost a fortune sorry, probably not that helpful -------------

The closest hotels I can think of are:
The Holiday Inn The Ibis The Novotel or slightly further but I think much cheaper is The Kingsgate (the old Portland) Actually, quest on johnston is very close and you can usually get it for around $115 a night on wotif. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
