I need to make a dish to take to Mum and dad's for dinner tomorrow night. Mum suggested I try scalloped potatoes in the crockpot but I have just read my manual and it says not to add milk until the end so I don't think I will be able to do that.

Anyone have a recipe for a potato dish done in the crockpot/slow cooker?

There are a bunch of potato recipes on http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/search/label/potatoes - A Year Of Crockpotting , including a scalloped potato recipe with cream and wasabi (hmmm, not sure about that!) and a couple of 'potatoes au gratin' recipes that would also qualify. The theme seems to be cream instead of milk... not exactly sure why, maybe it's heavier so it doesn't split?
