How boring for a Saturday night that the highlight is this

Anyone got suggestions how to do this? Vinegar? Baking Soda?
I tried looking in the supermarket for descaler but found none.

I'd use hot vinegar - heat the vinegar and soak the shower head in it.

ETA says a lot about my Saturday night too

Vinegar is all you need.

If you don't want to soak the head, just soak a handful of paper towels in the vinegar, wrap them around the head and leave overnight. Then just rinse in the morning and it should be clean.

I'm not very good with anything relating to cleaning....I'd just buy a new one!!

DH used vinegar last night, he just soaked the 'head of the head' IYKWIM in it for about an hour as he was worried about discolouring the rest of it.

We think it worked but both of us forgot to test it out this morning as it's in the main bathroom and we have an en-suite too.
Will try tomorrow morning
