Subject: how to tell DH

I will be testing in the next couple of days, but I am pretty sure I am pregnant....so, I wondering if anyone has any good ideas on fun ways to tell DH. We already have a son together and we each have a daughter, so wrapping up bibs and booties probably wont do the trick (he will be confused as to why I am wrapping up ds things :o))

Any ideas anyone?

TIA

I got a t shirt made for DS that said "I am going to be a big brother" and put that on him. Worked well and we used it to tell all out family - was classic seeing their reactions and seeing who actually noticed it first (or at all!!!)

i like Peanuts idea I gave DH a NB AIO with new baby written on it - that was for Astin. For Bay who was the first - there was no happy jumping unfortunately!! (too young! and shocked!) and for this baby i texted him and said "you friggen knocked me up again and we didnt even know!!" lol (it was planned but not expected at that time! lol)....you might not wana go with my ways of telling though! lol

I read somewhere that she bought a digital test kit, peed on it (and thus get the digitalized "PREGNANT") and taped it on the door so when DH got home that's the first thing he sees.

I read (on here I think) to put a roll in the oven and then when he opens the oven he says "why is there a bun in the oven"
Then you say "Honey I think your a bit old for the birds and the bees talk"

Hahaha love it!

Thanks for the ideas. I like the tshirt idea :-)   Im not really into the pregnancy test ones....somehow I can't get the idea out of my head that it has my wees on it
I did think of posting something...but seen as I collect the mail cos he is at work all day, and his dad collects that mail at his work...I don't know how to make that work.

The bun in the oven is funny...I would have to work out a way to get dh to open the oven though    He doesn't generally go in there for anything and when he cooks it is mostly stove top.

I might check out getting a tshirt made tomorrow

I'm just going to give DH a wrapped up box with a generic "Congratulations" card inside. I can just imagine it now, he'll say, what are you congratulating me for? Then he'll open the card up and find out! I've also told him I'm not testing till a week after what I really am so he'll have no clue!

Just read this to my DH & he loves the T-shirt idea!!

We also told Alia first what we were having & it took ages for people to cotton on we were having a boy, they didn't believe her but we got a good laugh
