Does any one know here I can buy a new mattress for a cariboo, easy rocker bassinet? measures 750x400, since baby will only be in it such a short time I would prefer to just get a foam one. Have found wool ones online but no luck with foam yet. Thanks

Baby City in Henderson had foam mattresses to fit in a cariboo. (well they did when I was there last week, I think its a babyfirst brand)
Also the sleep store stock the foam cariboo mattress.

we ended up just getting some foam from Para rubber which was way cheaper and making a cover ourselves.

thanks ladies, Baby factory Takapuna said they didnt do them but could get them in for $70, Im being tight as baby only in bassinet for such short time I would rather spend the money on cot mattress. Back to look at sleep store again, I could only find the wool one there when I looked!

I have just bought a 2nd hand Cariboo Classic and although it came with the mattress I want to get a new one. The mattress has a cover (similar to a pillowcase) so I am going to go to Para Rubber and get some foam (was quoted about $22) and just give the cover a wash.

i ordered mine from Preston International. They are based in Rangiora (CHC) and they couriered up to me. it cost $69.95. they are the makers of the cariboo mattresses and supply baby factory. they were the same cost as the baby factory without the $10 charge that Baby factory charge you to order one. I just found them in the white pages.
