Hi,
We have a car that we love but it doesn't have isofix in the back. We'd like to have points retrofitted so we can use an isofix base with an infant capsule & later a child seat. Does anyone have any experiences with retrofitting isofix points or know anyone in the Hamilton area that does retrofitting?
Thanks!!

as far a I knew isofix is built into the car when built. Its not something you can add when you want to. You can add anchor points.

i may be wrong but i also thought it was either in the car or it wasnt. (not something you can add) Maybe talk to a local garage and see if they know any more.

We have got isofix points in one of our cars, but not the one I drive mostly! I rang the manufacturer (as we bought my car new) and they did a lot of research for me and found out that I couldnt get them retro-fitted as they are actually attached to the chasis / body of the vehicle. Anchor points can be added though - apparently - if you dont have those.
